🐾 Happy National Dog Day from JMedia’s hardest-working employee… Skye!

And by “hardest-working,” I mean she works very hard at finding the perfect spot to nap while I’m working. 😂

Her preferred location? Right on top of my desk, where she can keep a close eye on website designs, social media posts, client projects—and make sure I don’t go too long without taking a break to give her some attention.

Working from home definitely has its perks, and having Skye as my daily office companion is one of the best. ❤️🐶

Happy National Dog Day to all the other four-legged coworkers out there!

Where does your dog hang out while you work?

"Care plan" sounds like a line item you could skip. Here's what it really is:

✅ Updates so your site doesn't break when the internet changes
✅ Backups so a bad day doesn't become a lost website
✅ Security so you're not an easy target
✅ A real human to call when something looks off

Skip it, and the repair bill and downtime usually cost more than the plan ever would. Boring? A little. Worth it? Every time.

Every few years someone declares print dead. Then they hand you a business card, mail you a postcard that actually stops you, or walk a trade show floor that's all signage.

Print isn't dead — boring print is. A flat flyer nobody keeps? Sure, that's a waste. But a piece designed with care gets picked up, kept, and remembered in a way one more email never will.

We make print worth holding onto.

Big agencies hand you off — a ticket here, an account manager there, three emails before anyone actually helps.

Work with us and you get me, Jamie. I answer the phone. I know your business. If something's wrong, you're not explaining it to a stranger reading your file for the first time.

Marketing should feel like a partnership, not a support queue. That's the whole reason JMedia exists.

Did you know? 🦓 The world's first electric traffic light switched on right here in Ohio.

On August 5, 1914, at Euclid Avenue and East 105th Street in Cleveland, the American Traffic Signal Company lit up the first red-and-green electric signal. A police officer worked it by hand from a little booth on the corner.

Everything from stoplights to "your GPS says turn left" traces back to that Cleveland corner. Ohio's been keeping traffic moving for over a century. 🚦

The marketing that actually grows a business is kind of boring: show up consistently, say true things, do good work, repeat. Month after month. It's not flashy, but it compounds — and it's still working long after the "hacks" have fizzled.

Slow and steady really does win this one. We're in it for the long game with you.

Ready to play the long game? Let's talk → https://monkeylink.co/22b704

Something the industry doesn't love to talk about: some agencies build your website and quietly keep the keys. Leave them, and you lose the site you paid for.

That's not how we work. Your website is yours — the files, the domain, the logins. If you ever left us (we'd be sad), you'd walk out with everything.

Own what you pay for. That's not a perk, it's just fair.

Not sure who owns your site right now? Just ask — real answers, real person → https://monkeylink.co/22b704

Did you know? 🦓 The very first product ever scanned with a barcode was a pack of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum — right here in Ohio.

It happened at 8:01 a.m. on June 26, 1974, at a Marsh supermarket in Troy, Ohio. They picked gum on purpose — to prove a barcode could fit on something that small. It rang up at 67 cents.

Fifty years later, billions of barcodes get scanned every day. Not bad for a pack of gum from the Buckeye State.

Here's what usually happens: your website is one company, your print is another, your signage a third. Nobody talks to each other, and your brand ends up looking like three different businesses.

With us, it's one team. Your site, your business cards, your trade show display, your social — same people, same brand, no handoffs and no "that's not our department."

One partner who actually knows your business. That's the whole point of JMedia • Nettl.
