Dear Wellness Geng,
As I have been discussing gut health a lot recently, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to LOOK AT YOUR GUT HEALTH if you are having any problems at all!
It amazes me how many individuals turn to medicines for their ailments instead of being taught to adjust their diets 🤯.
Did you know that harmful bacteria in your gut may disrupt your thyroid?
Hair loss, mood changes, odd skin rashes, and skin irritations (breakouts) are some of the symptoms it might cause.
Poor digestive health can lead to poor cognitive performance!
Yes, you read correctly, it can also result in autoimmune illnesses.
A poor diet is the main cause of digestive problems, but there are other contributing variables as well, such as stress, frequent use of antibiotics, drugs, food intolerances, sleep deprivation, and alcohol misuse.
So what can you do about it?
Well, I'm going to tell you ...
Get your diet in order.
The balance of microorganisms in your gut is directly impacted by the food you eat. While sugar and processed meals feed yeast and promote the growth of harmful bacteria, fiber and complex carbohydrates support the beneficial bacteria!
Make sure your diet consists of lean proteins, healthy fats, and foods high in fiber.
Think about approaching problems holistically!
Consume foods high in probiotics, such as bananas, onions, garlic, and flaxseeds.
Recognize triggers, such as food coloring, gluten, etc.
Please exercise regularly, 30 minutes of brisk walking to get your heart pumping each day can get your gut back in balance.
Reduce your workload
Give yourself time to have fun!
Meditate
Go to bed earlier
Consider Intermittent Fasting if you can because giving your gut a break from food for about 14 to 16 hours can reduce inflammation, shed water weight, and reduce bloating.
