As your books start to land at your doorsteps, and I’m basking in the glow of hitting number 1, I want to take a moment to express gratitude for the people that propelled me through the process of this creation:

1) Lynn Abate-Johnson for being the person to plant the seed.

2) The whole YGTMedia Co. Team for walking beside me and being my filter and my coach.

3) My friend Tristine Davis Photography for coming out on a hot, humid Florida day to pose me and capture the image that landed on the front cover.

- Day 11.

I first saw Judith Smith across the conference hall at a manifesting event held by Tasha Batts in 2017. She stood out with her head wrap, but that isn't what drew me to her. What drew me to her was a literal light that emanated from her body.

I didn't see that light present from many others, so she was like a beacon to me. Although I dread introducing myself to new people (it makes me terribly anxious), I knew that Judith and I were supposed to be in orbit of each other.

A quick introduction, and the sweetest voice emerged with a slight, but familiar, Jamaican accent. Anyone who knows me knows my love of Caribbean people, so it was just another sign.

Judith makes her mark on the world by spreading the message of one love. I think most of us have likely heard that phrase, but hearing it, embracing it, and living it are very different things. It is Empress Judith's calling to end divisiveness and to spread the message that we all are one. It is the fallacy that we are separate that brings about divisiveness, hatred, bigotry, racism, and war.

Thank you for doing the hard work, Empress. Your work and efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you for making history by living in your passion and purpose daily.

Day 10

Tristine Davis is truly one of the most genuine people I've met while in Florida. I'm particular about the people I spend time with, so finding someone whose energy I vibe with was a breath of fresh air.

She's also a spiritual seeker. She's mindful about the vibe she keeps, which means she's safe in my book.

She's a champion for women's self-image, taking underwater and bo***ir photographs that are stunning and that capture a perspective that most women never even think to look for.

She knows how to handle confrontation, and always looks within to see if and how she can shift to show up better the next time. And she's one heck of an amazing accountability partner.

Her love of Mother Earth is apparent in how she walks the beach to take in the earth's beauty, and to keep our oceans clean. Or freediving to be as close to nature as possible. An avid fisher-woman... she'll always have a fishin' buddy any time she wants to throw in a line.

Day 9...

Jess Stone's intro to me was purely a business introduction at first. After becoming a client though, it was clear that both she and her husband were our kind of people.

World changers, fist shakers, and risk takers - often taking those risks and seeking adventure for the sake of raising money for Girl Up, a non-profit initiative of the UN to unite girls to change the world.

Jess rides across the globe on her motorcycle with Whimsy in tow to raise $100,000 for GirlUp.

When Jess and I first started working together, I knew immediately how we would soar together - by encouraging her that her voice was valid, worthy, and it was not just wanted by her audience, but needed by the world.

I'm so incredibly proud of the evolution I've seen in Jess and the rock-star status she holds now as she's about to embark on one of the coolest treks of her life. She's absolutely a history maker - by sharing . It matters.

Women making - Day 8.

I’ve said it every day so far and I’ll say it every day going forward. We’re making history right now by choosing to step into our purpose and power. And Polina Osherov has been my role model since she hired me in 2001.

When we first met, she openly said she wasn’t naturally maternal, but she nurtured me in ways that helped me heal deep childhood wounds. As her employee, I learned how to start and grow a business through hard work and by nurturing relationships.

And as a friend, she has been my shelter, both literally and emotionally. And that maternal instinct she thought she lacked… well… She helped raise 2 of kindest, most loving, giving, and beautiful young women I know.

I am beyond proud to call her my friend, but more than that, she’s my chosen family. You’re an inspiration to women doing the hard things, Polina. Keep shining! 😘😘

Day 7…

Our story began (can you believe it, Angela Dawn Geers) over 10 years ago at a little pub in Indianapolis.

A woman 10 years younger than me, but we clicked immediately. It was like we were sisters from day 1. The more I got to know , the more it reminded me of my own.

Our spiritual lives began to really evolve as we questioned everything we’d known or been taught. We spent hours breaking down how our lives would help impact the world. Mine by showing up for women. Hers by showing the world that death isn’t the big hairy audacious monster we’ve envisioned it to be.

And then she went the extra step and brought life into the world. And she is a FIERCE mama bear. I can only imagine the woman Aurora become thanks to the healing and transformation you’ve made in your own life, Ang. You’re making history just by doing the work here and now. 👑
