👸A STYLING CERTIFICATE DOESN’T MAKE YOU A STYLIST. THIS DOES.

You can have every certification in the industry.

I have them, too.

But a certificate can teach you what to look for. It doesn’t teach you how to understand the woman sitting in front of you.

A great stylist listens to what the customer is saying, notices what she isn’t saying, understands where she is in her life, and then applies the training to build a styling experience around her.

The certification gives you the tools.

Knowing how and when to use those tools for your client is what makes you a stylist.

Today? I’m wearing it under a sweater, letting just a little lace peek out, and pairing it with jeans.

Same cami.

Then keep the SAME top and change the supporting pieces:

Suddenly, the outfit feels like fall without pretending the weather does.

👸 HOW TO STYLE CAPRI PANTS WITHOUT LOOKING DATED

I’m going to say something controversial: I hate capri pants.

I don’t hate the pant itself, just the way they’re often styled.

The oversized T-shirt.
The bulky casual shoe.
The whole outfit looking like it was assembled for comfort and nothing else.

And then we decide the capri pants are the problem.

They’re not.

Styling is.

A more polished top.
A little structure.
Intentional accessories.
And a refined shoe instead of a casual clog.

Suddenly, those same capri pants can look completely different.

You don’t have to love capris. I certainly don’t think they’re for everyone.

But if you have a pair in your closet, let’s make them look like you actually meant to wear them.

But it can’t always tell you why.

It takes listening closely enough to hear what she’s not saying.

Because the future of styling isn’t human or technology.

It’s human with technology.

The best stylists will use the tools to make their work smarter and more efficient, while still building the relationship that makes a client feel truly understood.

Human first. Technology second.

Sometimes the hardest part of getting help with your style is trusting someone enough to ask.

You may be watching my videos because you’re not sure what looks right anymore.

Maybe your body has changed.
