Kinburn Spit The Kinburn Spit is washed by different waters on three sides - the Black Sea, the Dnieper-Bug Estuary, and the Yagorlitsky Bay. On the spit there is a national natural park "Beloberezhye Svyatoslav" and three small settlements: Pokrovskoe, Pokrovka, Vasilyevka.

Dnieper-Bug estuary The Dnieper-Bug estuary is the largest in the Black Sea region. It is located partially in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions. The length of the water body of national importance is about 82 km.
Almost 70 species of fish live here: bream, gobies, crucian carp, rudd, carp and others. Some representatives of the marine fauna reside in these waters permanently, some live in the Black Sea and swim into the estuary during spawning (sturgeon, beluga, stellate sturgeon, herring).
