SO... you have good stuff to offer! ✨

"I find it hard to keep a conversation going with a lead inside the DM"
"I don't know what words to use or say when talking to a lead"

These are only a few of the common struggles I noticed and heard from my clients—the nurturing part.

What do you think the reason behind that?

Sorry to break it to you but it's the way you engaged with those leads you've generated. Engagement isn't just about you liking posts, leaving 3 heart emojis on the comments, or giving your lead's story a fire emoji reaction so you can go into their DMs.

Or you, mindlessly tapping the slides for the sake of ticking engagement off your to-do list and just to make it to the list of "viewers" so that specific lead could see you.

If that's how you do it, then you're actually making it hard to nurture those leads.

✨You'll constantly catch yourself running out of words to say.
✨You'll have a hard time keeping a conversation inside the DM.
✨You'll even prolly ask irrelevant questions.

Next thing you know, you're already left on seen — end of convo. ☹️

That's the worst that could happen right? And you don't want to reach that part as it would be hard for you to revive that conversation without coming off icky and sleazy considering where you guys left off.

So to make "nurturing" especially inside the DM easier, make it a habit to watch your ideal client's story as if it's your favorite series—don't skim, don't skip. Don't just view what you can resonate with or just find a common ground.

Once you do that, you'll be surprised how easy and flowy the conversation will be because you now have a deeper knowing of who they are—what they love, what they don't like, their causes, all the little details they share. You'll stop overthinking the words that you'll be using, you'll know when to take a break, when to message again, and when to end the convo, and the overall energy would feel so much lighter.

That's how you make engagement genuine and nurturing easier and natural. 💚

You've probably heard this audio all around Tiktok and IG reels.

What a tricky and empowering statement right? I mean, it's Taylor Swift soooooo 💁‍♀️

Honestly, those words didn't make any sense to me the first few times I heard them. Well, not until I got sick for like the whole month of November. Your girl couldn't speak well, throat was dry and itchy. Bad cough, stuffy nose, headache, and felt like I would throw up every second of the day.

And worst? I couldn't sleep (it's getting better now though it's still interrupted).

That experience was sad and dark. I canceled plans, rescheduled my intensives, and didn't show up here.

Clearly, I was burnt out and the physical manifestation of it was horrible. I was mentally and emotionally drained and I just chose to numb myself by staying in bed the whole day, scrolling through social media, and just getting up if I feel hungry.

I came to a point where I could feel my body getting weaker every day and I just kind of waited for what could happen to me as if I didn't care about myself and my dreams anymore.

But here's blondie and her words—it finally made sense to me, while I'm stuck in my bed the world doesn't stop from spinning and people are out there making every moment of their lives count.

I'm on my own now. I'm no longer that 7-year-old kid. Sure, it's scary but it's cool news! It's okay to have those kinds of days but I have to pick myself up and take responsibility for my life. At the end of the day, the only one who could help me apart from God is myself.

SO I'M HERE, SHOWING UP FOR MYSELF AND MY DREAMS! ✨

I can't give up now. I gave my blood, sweat, and tears to get to this point.

And to you who are reading this, allow yourself to rest and have intentional breaks instead of numbing yourself with things that aren't serving your present and future self. Pick yourself up because no one's going to do it for you.

I have a lot of quiet moments this week and one thought, a question actually that popped up was...

"So, why are you doing this self? This whole social media management business—serving health and life coaches, why?"

I'd lie if I say that it's not for the money, of course, it is. I love money but it's just a byproduct of a deeper and significant cause.

For me, it's knowing that I am helping my clients live their lives and focus on serving without the constant struggle of keeping up with social media—content creation, lead generation, and engagement.

I have this one client who's been sick for like 2 weeks telling me in one of our check-in calls that she's grateful she has me to create content for her—that she kept her relevance online even though she's not at her best physically.

And that right there is a win for me, I served my purpose.

"You are trying to care about everything"

That line hit me right to the core, I started crying.

It took me back to the moments when I chose not to share my ideas, not to ask questions, and not to speak a single word—times when I let others talk to me like I'm a piece of s*t.

WHY? because it's me, I'm the problem!
(currently living in the midnights era lol)

I was obsessed with caring about everything and everyone—in a disempowering way.

"I'm afraid of what others would think and say about me when I do this and that."
"What about their feelings?"
"What if they'll laugh at me?"
"My ideas are not worth-sharing"

And the list goes on.

I was in that downward spiral for a long while. And it cost me a lot—my health was at stake, missed opportunities, money, and relationships.

But the moment I took responsibility and accountability for my life—not living by other people's opinion of me, speaking my truth, setting healthy boundaries with people who are important to me, walking away from everything and everyone that makes me feel less, accepting the fact that I was also once the "toxic" in the picture—things have slowly shifted in my favor.

I can't afford to lose my truth again.
