Latest Drawing of Mine - The King’s Executioner — Lore
A greedy lord serving a just king coveted a neighboring land rich with gold. Its owner—the son of an old wizard—refused to sell.
So the lord devised a scheme: false accusations, a forced verdict, and pressure placed on the king’s executioner to carry out the sentence. The son was put to death.
To bury the truth, the lord then killed the executioner as well. By this time, the king himself lay entombed in a grand crypt—now joined by his loyal servant.
When the wizard learned of his son’s fate, he struck back, slaying the lord under cover of night. But vengeance alone did not satisfy him. He entered the king’s tomb and laid a curse upon the executioner.
Now the once-loyal servant wanders the crypt in agony, his body twisted and broken—bound forever to guard the king from any who dare disturb his rest.

I reworked a piece I created a couple years ago, adding a background and formatting it as a poster. While recreating it, I came up with an idea for this piece and the other poster-style art I’ve done. I’m thinking of turning them into a small series that includes a map and a stat block for the subject.

The idea would be to call the series “Secret Bosses.” Each one could be something DMs can easily drop into their campaigns as a fun side-quest encounter.

Curious what people think about the concept.

Poster I just finished for the game room. I wanted to depict how a charmed player character perspective would look like in-game. Portraying the three mind flayers as little un threatening cartoons hovering around. A soup of vibrant colors, like being on acid. I overlayed a canvas texture over to give it a painterly look, as if I physically painted it. What do you guys think? Still need to order it and really see how it will look framed and hanging up.

Hey guys, my latest creation: Brumble Caskthorn
Deep in the damp heart of Mossfen, where fireflies drift like embers and sap drips year-round, lives Brumble Caskthorn, a beetlefolk brewer of rare patience. While others trade or toil, he keeps to his grove beneath the roots, tending his stills and tapping moonlit sap. His glowing brew, Moonshimmer, changes with every batch—sometimes healing, sometimes strange—and Brumble never knows its effects until the first sip.

Put the finishing touches on this piece titled Bandit Hunting. A bounty hunter Changeling disguises herself as a desired target for her mark, luring her prey on the notorious road known for bandit ambushes that prey on unsuspecting caravans and travelers. As she spots a strongbox filled with fool's gold—left out as bait by the bandits—she knows the confrontation draws near.

The people of Nareth Hollow were farmers, artisans, and hunters....threatened by neighboring nobles, warriors turned to the hermit witch that then called out to a powerful Shadow Djinn named Ashra-hyk...desperate, they accepted. Cursed but powerful and also saved.
