CPA a.k.a. Cost Per Acquisition
What’s it cost you to acquire a customer, or a lead?
If I spend $148,272.28 and make 8,533 sales, my CPA comes out to $17.38.
$148,272.28 divided by 8,533 sales equals $17.38 cost per acquisition.
If you don’t know your CPA then a good place to start is the price of your product.
Lets say your product is priced at $100.
And your CPA is half of that, $50.
You spend $50 on ads and make one sale.
You just 2X’d your investment.
If you’re happy with the profit then your set CPA is $50.
If you’re not happy with the profit then you’ll need to lower your CPA.
A CPA of $25 for example.
You spend $25 on ads and you make one sale.
You just 4X’d your investment.
Much better profits.
