Arkansas Wild
I grew up fishing on the Little Red River in Arkansas. It was on this river that I discovered a love for water, fly-fishing, and trout. As I got older, I took it for granted, moved away, and then came to appreciate what I’d had growing up.
Two years ago, I began a documentary about the river. Now the feature film is completed, and I am excited to share it with you.
“Arkansas Wild: The Story of Trout Tourism on the Little Red” features The Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation's Ben Batten, biologist Steve Lochmann, fly-fishing guides Kati & Jamie Rouse at Rouse Fly Fishing, the Lindsey's Resort, and more.
The story focuses on #arkansastourismourism, but it also emphasizes #conservation and why we need to protect all our rivers, lakes, and wild places.

Arkansas PBS premieres the film on Thursday, April 11 @ 7:00pm. Other PBS stations across the U.S. are also airing the film. I hope you enjoy it.
