This is the time we leverage 3D printing to it's best capabilities. We used 3D scanning to get a digital representation of this product into our design software, to then begin prototyping a protective silicone boot to go onto Oynx pneumatic impact wrenches. The prototypes will be initially printed in a harder plastic to ensure fitting is accurate then the final product will be printed with a flexible plastic which is more like silicone.
