The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month … Remembrance Day!

It originated to commemorate the armistice agreement that ended the First World War on Monday, November 11, 1918.

It has continued in many countries, as a way to remember the veterans that made the ultimate sacrifice in the many wars and conflicts since.

This beautifully matted and framed print of the John McCrae poem In Flanders Fields was a gift from a recently departed artist friend. This day meant a lot to him and on a number of occasions I joined him, at the eleventh hour at the local cenotaph to remember.

This year it is him that I’ll remember.

Rest In Peace Rob MacDougall.

Asking for help can be difficult for a lot of us. Sometimes we don’t ask for help because we don’t really know where to go and who to ask. In marketing it’s important to have the understanding of what marketing is, what the different steps are and why do we need to take them. This understanding is not so that we can go and learn how to do it and do it ourselves. It’s important so that we can ask the right questions when dealing with the experts and we can make educated critical decision.
