Let’s Get Social

When you work with us, we shoot your content in person. Being in the room with you changes everything. We see how you move, hear how you talk about your work and catch the moments that make people want to know you.

Honestly, shoot days are one of the best parts of our week. That time together is where your social media starts to feel like you.

“I’ll get serious about my marketing in January.”

Over here in marketing land, we’re already working in the new year. The content you’ll see go live in January is being mapped out right now. The strategy, the shoots, the website refresh, that email landing in inboxes the first week of the year. All of it gets built in November while everyone else is buried in holiday parties and good intentions.

So if you wait until January to start, you’re really starting in March.

Every year a founder shows up on January 2nd ready to go. By the time the strategy is set and the content is built, the new year energy has packed its bags and left. Her best months go to catching up.

Two spots just opened on our roster for a November start.

That gives us room to do this properly. We’d look at your whole marketing ecosystem. Your social, your website, your emails, your Google Business Profile, your blog, LinkedIn if that’s where your people hang out. We’d see how it all connects and where it’s quietly leaking.

Then we build it out together, so when January 1st arrives you’re already in motion with a team behind you that actually knows your business.

This is for the founder who is incredible at what she does and done watching her marketing get pushed to “next month” for the eleventh month in a row.

If that’s you, I would love to help you start the year off with a bang.

DM me or book a call through the link in bio. Two spots, November start.

We grew a little while back and somehow forgot to tell you.

Honestly, it’s probably because Abbey fit in so perfectly. From her very first week, it felt like she’d been part of TJC forever, and we just never stopped to make it official.

Meet Story Weaver Abbey.

Abbey is an absolute ray of sunshine. It’s rare to catch her without a smile on her face, and that warmth comes through in every message, every check-in and every piece of work she hands back. She’s the kind of person who makes a busy week feel lighter just by being on the team.

She’s also genuinely kind and easy going, and so collaborative. We learn so much from each other, and we’re often hyping up each other’s work. What stands out most is how intentional she is. She takes real care to understand each client, and she leans on the people who’ve known them longer to get it right.

And when I tell you her editing skills are top notch, I mean it. She has a real gift for taking a pile of raw footage and finding the story in it. Her edits feel like our clients, which is exactly what a story weaver is meant to do. Some of the reels you’ve loved lately? There’s a good chance Abbey had her hands on them.

The only downside of Abbey is that we don’t get any IRL time with her. She’s busy creating her dream life in Mexico while working remote with us. We love hearing about her adventures and seeing everything she shares on her personal feed. But selfishly, we wish she was a little closer so we could actually hug her at a shoot.

Abbey, thank you for the sunshine and the stories. We’re so happy you’re part of this team. 🖤

Social media is a big part of what we do at TJC. It’s also just one piece of the picture.

We manage websites and email marketing for our clients.

That includes workflows and email sequences. Do you have them set up? Because they make your life so much easier. Someone joins your list or books a call, and the right emails go out on their own while you get on with your day.

We write blogs that bring people to your business through search, so you’re getting found by people who are actually looking for you.

We manage Google Business Profiles too, because somehow it’s the easiest part of marketing for businesses to forget even exists.

And we’ve leveled up our LinkedIn management. LinkedIn plays by its own rules, so it gets its own strategy. Deep content, a monthly newsletter, and the right connections and conversations to put you in front of the people you want to reach.

All of it is built with the bigger picture in mind. Your website, email, Google profile, LinkedIn and socials working together as one ecosystem, with us keeping it running.

Not sure what your business actually needs right now? That’s a conversation we’re always happy to have.

Asking for help with your content can feel weirdly personal.

You built this business. You know your clients better than anyone, and you’ve probably been the one telling its story since day one. So handing any of that to someone else can feel like admitting you dropped the ball.

You didn’t. Your business grew, and your days didn’t get any longer.

At some point the stuff that used to fit in the cracks of your week stops fitting. Content is usually the first thing to slide, because nobody’s calling you about it and nothing breaks right away when it doesn’t happen.

Here’s the part people worry about most: losing their voice. Good support should sound more like you, not less. We still want your stories and your opinions. You just don’t have to be the one sitting with a blank caption at 10pm trying to make them sound good.

You get to stay close to it. You just stop carrying all of it.

If this one hit a little close to home, send us a message. We have two spots left for social media management for November. We’d love to hear what’s been sitting at the bottom of your list.

I’m back.

Our one-month no-talking-head experiment ran a little longer than planned.

My dad passed away in the middle of it.

When something like that happens, the rest of the world goes quiet for a while. Most of what filled my days had nothing to do with content.

But our posting never stopped.

And it went deeper than the posts. The whole ecosystem we’ve built at TJC kept running. Our team stepped up, and the systems we’ve put in place did exactly what they’re meant to do.

That’s one of the things I’m most grateful for in how we run TJC. We treat our own business exactly like a client’s. The strategy is mapped out and the content is made ahead of time, so it’s ready when we need it.

Which meant when life fell apart, the business didn’t have to.

That’s the whole reason we build this way. Some seasons, you need to step away. Your business can keep moving while you do.

It’s what we build for our clients, too.

Sometimes the best thing your marketing can do for you is keep showing up when you can’t. 🖤

Talking heads work.

People want to see the person behind the business. They want to hear you talk, get a feel for your personality, and understand who they’re actually connecting with.

Yes, carousels, static posts and B-roll all work, but there's something about speaking to a camera that other content forms can't replace.

When you work with us, you'll always have a hype woman to encourage you to say the dang thing and show up.
Human connection is built through trust and that trust only comes through seeing and hearing you.

Okay. The data is in.

During our month without talking-head content, inquiries dropped.

Not everything changed; we kept the same posting schedule, the same level of effort, and the same focus on creating good content.

The biggest change was that we stopped putting a real person on camera.

But the experiment reminded us of something we already knew on some level:

People want to see the person behind the business.
They want to hear how you think. See your personality. Get a sense of who they’re actually going to be working with.

B-roll can show what you do. Graphics can explain what you offer.

But your face creates a different kind of connection.
And that matters when someone is deciding whether they trust you enough to reach out.

So if you’ve been avoiding the camera because you think your business can be marketed without ever showing up as the person behind it...

Maybe it can. Our data says there’s something you lose when you disappear completely.

Data doesn’t always tell you what you want to hear. Sometimes it tells you what you need to know.

We did something a little uncomfortable last month.

We stopped talking.

For an entire thirty days we pulled all talking head content from the TJC account. No sitting down to camera. No Tacye speaking directly to you. No explaining what we do or why it matters.

On purpose.

Everyone has an opinion about talking head content right now. It converts. It is dead. You need a hook in the first half second. You need to do it this way. You need to stop doing it that way. And honestly I got tired of building a strategy around what everyone says should work without actually knowing what works for us.

So we ran the experiment ourselves.

We watched the numbers. We watched the engagement. We paid attention to what happened when the face behind the business went quiet for a month.

And the results were not exactly what I expected. But now we have some actual date to work with...

More on that soon.

Everyone wants the viral post.

The reel that takes off with thousands of views and a sudden flood of followers. But one viral moment is not a content strategy.

Trust is built through repetition.

People need to see you more than once. Hear what you have to say. Understand what you do and remember you when they actually need what you offer.

That’s why consistency matters more than chasing the one big moment.

The founders who are building steady, sustainable businesses aren’t always the ones going viral. They’re the ones who keep showing up.

You don’t need a moment, you need a rhythm.
