Social commerce refers to the experience of shopping directly on social platforms, a way for brands and companies to "help consumers with product discovery", said Insider Intelligence. I really like the words the article uses: "authenticity", "collaboration", and "creativity". And the quote: "A place where realness is the new cultural currency." These are some keys for any marketers should keep in mind if they want to build their presence on this channel.

TikTok offers a new opportunity for brands. But according to Sam Christie realness and authenticity are what really gets users engaged.
