After a year of studying, researching, planning...

I had it all figured out. The most efficient way. It was genius.

'The Best Way' to start my business.

I went to work ...designing a plan that I could share with others.

The plan was printed out with glossy pictures and bound in a cover.

It looked so nice.

Everything was perfect!

And then, everything changed.

Sh*t!

All that work and time wasted.

[WTF] I had to start over.

Don't get stuck in paralysis of analysis.

The funny thing is that now, I realize my plan actually kind of sucked anyway.

You see, efficiency and the 'smart' way to do something might just be to confusing for others.

Be simple, clear, honest, kind....and just get started already.

Patience (for some things) is key - BUT, if you have been stuck in the planning stages for way too long [wanting to make it perfect], it may be WAY past time to just get fu***ng started already. Do the things! You have to START somewhere.

When you dedicate yourself to something and work hard at it with intention and purpose, you will get results.

The problem is not that we can't learn to do things....

It's often just figuring out what to do in the first place.

So here's what has helped me...

Play around with a lot of things, and try not to get stuck in paralysis of analysis.

Actually do the things!

Pick up a 'toy' project....

If it isn't right...drop it and pick up another.
