NO FLY ZONE - Advanced Warning.

Please be advised that from 1pm UTC (2pm GMT) Wednesday 13th of August until 10pm UTC (11pm GMT) there is a NO FLY ZONE in place for all unauthorised drones in the Blue Zone.

This is for the British Firework Championships, to ensure the safety of the expected 30K Guests per night.

🥳🥳🥳 500 MEMBERS 🥳🥳🥳

This week, around 14 months since we launched, we hit 500 members. 😍

This is a massive achievement and clearly something that was missing in the creative space here in the South West. We've shared knowledge, ideas, work, given others opportunities to gain experience and paid contractual jobs too.

LinkedIn Local SW is back in Plymouth at the University of Plymouth Student Union. This event will be rather unique as we are encouraging not only business professions to attend but also current students to help them develop their networking skills.

About this event

LinkedIn Local events have been connecting businesses across the South West since 2017 and the number of people we have connected with each other never ceases to amaze me. We are back with another great event in Plymouth in partnership with the University of Plymouth Careers Service.

We want you to reconnect with old friends and make new acquaintances in a friendly, no pressurised environment, where connecting with people is more important than looking for leads or doing business. We are also encouraging current University students and graduate alumni to attend and do a bit of networking. So a great opportunity to meet a wide range of new people!

The University student Union which is fully accessible have agreed we can take over the place so if you ever wondered what this venue looks like or an old alumni wanting to reminisce come along! There is a cash bar and we are hoping to put on some nibbles. The University is now 30 years old so we will also be playing a nice slideshow of pictures of the university as a polytechnic right up till now .
