I decided to also make the app page (plus a loading screen) that was on the brief that was generated for last week's post.

2nd pic is that brief.

So I decided I wanted to design a logo, so I decided to use a brief generator to give me something to make a logo for. (2nd pic*)

I then proceeded to save it, only pay attention to the "for" & "to help" area, & create the logo.

Some more work from my time studying last year! Here's my 3D concept illustration assessment, where we had to use sketchup to model the base, render it out in blender, and then colour & draw in details on photoshop.

A little something from an assessment last year, while I was studying at North metro tafe. The brief was to design and (hand) render a futuristic vehicle, with perspective.

We had to do both a greyscale version & a colour version, using either pencils, ink or watercolour. I chose to use pencils.

The first picture, is the scan of the colour pencil illustration, & the second photo is the scan of the graphite illustration.

The last image is the development sketches, with a photo of the graphite version, before I shaded & erased the perspective grid lines.

Happy Valentine's day! I chose to also do a gift box design for the chocolate bars in my previous post, along with a bonus design for a hazelnut chocolate bar.

So, I was in the mood to create something that's kinda relevant for valentine's day this Sunday, so I decided to design some chocolate bar packaging.

Although I think next time I decide to design something for the fun of it, I'm going to make a mock brief or find a mock brief- so the end result will be more individualised for a specific brand.

So, I'm back from my break!

Here's one of the projects I did while I was away, where I made these as Christmas gifts for some friends & family.

I kept the label pretty minimal, because I didn't want the text to get lost in the design, or to end up clashing with the ribbon.

(Please ignore my failed attempt to tempering the chocolate on the peppermint creams that have dairy. I'm definitely way better at being a designer than a chocolatier).
