Have you ever wondered if your small business needs a company LinkedIn Page? Are you an entrepreneur, consultant or self-employed business owner and you yourself are your only employee, so you feel you only need your personal LinkedIn page? Well the answer to both of these questions is you absolutely need a company LinkedIn page even if you fit in one of the three categories just listed.
Everyone should be on LinkedIn, so if you are reading this, kudos to you!
What’s the difference between a personal and a company page?
"The difference between a LinkedIn personal page and a LinkedIn company page is that one is about you and the other is about your business. Even if you are your business, you should still have a LinkedIn page for yourself and a LinkedIn page for your business.
LinkedIn personal page describes you and your professional background—education, licenses, experience, etc.
LinkedIn company page describes your business—what your business does, location, business updates, blog posts, etc." see article link below for more.
I've been asked a lot lately by friends and business partners if they should create a separate business page, if they are the business owner. I found this great article to share with more helpful tips on the content you should include on both your personal and business page.
