What's new in Piar.io?


We have added a user profile page, changed the preview selection interface, created an option to add custom hash and domain, and more UX improvements in service navigation.

Also, you can get direct access from your device's home screen to the service with our PWA. Those will make operating the Piar.io service more simple and faster.

Only one week has passed since we launched the service in production and we have already been chosen as the Product of the Day at ProductHunt.

With the assistance of your feedback, we continue to improve the service. For this reason, we would like to share the work we had done during the week.

The following is a detailed description of the points we implemented:
1. Authorization via Facebook and Linkedin.
2. Added validation of text fields in preview.
3. Advanced interface to work with the image editor.
4. Improved support for mobile devices.
5. Added system of notifications for user actions (toasts).
6. Magic button 2.0 - now we can fetch more information from your link.
7. Changed interface Preview in the dashboard.
8. Fixed other bugs.

We have continued to make improvements.

Our launch to ProductHunt was a success! 🎉 On the first day, we were chosen as the 🥇 Product of the Day on the platform with more than 340 votes for Piar.io

Now we are still adding to the list for a product of the week. We already have more than 720 votes.

We are also the second product in the categories Social Media Tools, Marketing, Growth Hacking after promoted product Zendesk for Startups and fourth in the Tech category.

Two months from the creation of the idea 💡 to the implementation of the product has reached a new point of our goal.

Final touches to the design are already in production.

Tomorrow we expect the first approval of the product by a huge audience. We launch ProductHunt on September 26th at 7 a.m. GMT. ⏰ Put a reminder.

We have added the possibility of uploading image and crop of it.

The preview of a link in networks can have large image, small image and be without image. It depends on the image size and aspect ratio.

We add the ideal aspect ratio description for each social network based on the requirements. Ideal aspect ratio:
For Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram - 1.91:1
For Twitter - 2:1
For Reddit - 1:1

We also give the opportunity to create a custom aspect ratio for the image.
