As business owners, social media plays a big part in growing our following and reaching new people! Instagram can be a great tool to help you get there if you’re using it right.

Do you have a goal to grow your Instagram following and engagement in 2020? Here are my top tips!

✨ Post great content consistently

Post to your feed at least 3-4x per week and to your stories daily.

✨Use the right hashtags

Do hashtag research! Pick hashtags that have a variety of followers (you don’t want every one to have 2 million followers or your posts will just get lost). Some hashtags will be more general, but pick some more niche ones too. Use about 15-20 per post.

✨Build real relationships

Engage in the DMs, interact on stories, reply to comments and comment on other people’s posts! This is the absolute biggest must.

Tip Tuesday!
Batch your social media content.
As a business owner, it can be easy to get too caught up in other things to remember to post on social media.
But social media is a super important part of your business. It gives you the ability to grow your audience, engage with them, and keep them in the know!!
Set aside one day a week, and sit down and create all of your social media posts for that week at once. Your content will be more cohesive, and you are so much more likely to be consistent!
