Highlight reel—
If you’re feeling discouraged in this season of life that you’re in, this is your friendly reminder that this app is a highlight reel and although it’s addicting and tempting to continue to scroll and watch what everyone else is doing ( trust me, I’ve been there ) it’s only going to make things harder on yourself. You know why that person’s life looks perfect? Because they’ve curated it to look perfect. Every now and then I like to bring up this topic because who knows, I might be the only person on your feed today that tells you it’s okay that your body, house, relationship, job, family, etc isn’t perfect. Nobody’s is. With really good days, comes bad days too but some people only choose to show the good days.

To whoever is reading this and their heart is aching in their current situation, I’m asking God to bring peace over you. You may have no idea what you’re doing or where you’re going but, HE DOES. 🙌🏼

Investment piece——
One of the most common questions I get asked is what pieces to invest in? Well, ideally all pieces 😉 but that’s not always realistic!

Over the years and going from a fast fashion lifestyle to now a slow fashion lifestyle I have definitely picked and chose which pieces I personally wanted to invest in. So for me, one thing I wanted to invest in was a really beautiful but solid structured bag. I came across the brand when I used to work at a small slow fashion boutique and I am so glad I did. Trick of the trend—
If you’ve been following me for a little while you’ll probably know that I’m not the most trendy person, and I actually pride myself in that. I find that most trends are wasteful and un-inclusive, which ISN’T cool. Trends are tricky because they are made to look so desirable— but it’s just another way for big corporate companies to make more $$$. If you feel like you easily get pulled into buying the latest fashion trend, wait until it’s no longer a trend and see if you still like it. It’s going to take some will power not to give in, but once the hype is over you might realize it wasn’t something you wanted as much as you thought you did! ( Learnt this from my own personal experience 😉 )

At the beginning of the year I gave myself a goal of 12 clients. I wanted to have atleast 1 client per month. Today is May 13th, and I have already surpassed my goal. To say this + share this is such a blessing. To all my clients that have trusted me thus far, thank you. One day or today—

I never had much confidence growing up and I always thought it was something that I would never have. But as I got older I saw everything I was capable of, ( by the goodness + grace of God ) it suddenly became something I had. In my personal opinion, being confident is simply just knowing your worth and believing that it’s true. Instead of waiting until “one day”, choose today. Knowing your personal style is a great step towards a more confident you, send me a message and let’s talk!
