I was walking around my house with a blank stare on my face due to my inability to get a job after 8 months of applying. My mom asks "you okay" to which I replied, "no, I'm just waiting". I was exhausted and was waiting for an opportunity. She told me to look on craigslist, now at this point I had forgotten Craiglist even existed. Two nights later I search in the job category "service desk analyst", Every search result said "Coding boot camp". FYI, this is not how searches work, this was definitely a divine glitch. Within the next week, I was signing up for Thinkful's coding full immersion software engineering course.
I went through every emotion getting this certificate, a piece of paper! Looking back I can see how God used this journey as a means to do a restorative work in me. At the end of this, not only am I set up for a great career, but my faith and mind have never been as strong as they are now. Fully ready to take over the world. Who's coming with me?
