"New heavens" = new government over the entire earth (God's Kingdom). "New earth" = a new society of people (obedient mankind free from Satan's influences) completely unified and All praising Jehovah! Jesus and the 144,000 will SOON take over management of the earth and bring ALL the changes we pray for and long for! Think of the incredible and many blessings God's Kingdom, with Jesus as King, will bring to fruition. No more wars, no more hatred, no more crime, no more injustices, no more poverty, no more natural disasters, no more sickness, no more disease, no more mental illness, no more homeless . . and our dead loved ones and friends WILL BE resurrected! (Acts 24:15; 2 Cor 1:20) Oh my! Pray fervently for God's Kingdom to come!! (Matt 6:9; Rev 21:4-5; Rev 22:20)
