Day 3 of my mission to spotlight the light and sunshine on social media is Carri Solomon of Life with the Solomon’s and Inspiration Station.

If you want encouragement during your day, this is your girl! She goes out of her way to spread joy to our community. Like when she posts encouraging messages to Venice groups!

She’s happy and she’s real. She understands anxiety and provides encouragement through the day that helps me focus myself on moving forward instead of wallowing in my hurt.

Spotlight Day 2!

Another favorite Social Media (and real life) friends that I thoroughly enjoy is Karen Nowak Brock at Karen Brock, Keller Williams!

She's an amazing encourager. She's been a great mentor pushing me to do the best in my business and take next steps. She was my first client that I didn't know and now the Vice President of my marketing meetings on Wednesdays.

Day 1 of my mission to spotlight the light and sunshine on social media absolutely HAS to be Callie Cowan.

The first thing you need to know about Callie? She is a 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗨𝗟 writer. The way she articulates her thoughts is like an awakening and unexpected punch in the gut. But in a good way! What I mean by this is what she says has impact. What she says sticks with you throughout the day. (I told you it'd circle around to being a good thing 😉) It's eye opening and inspiring. Reading from her social media daily helps me stay on track with my eyes fixed to the Lord and a reminder that there is joy for tomorrow (and today!)

☀️ Good morning my little rays of sunshine! ☀️

I've got a big day ahead of me full of projects and cleaning. (I'm super excited about one of those! I'll let you divine which one 😉) But it's been awhile so I wanted to check in with you all.

This morning I started reading Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis and something she said really hit me. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲. (Pg 8)

I started thinking about what I allow myself to take in on a daily basis. What shows I watch, what I read, who I spend time with and I made a list of positive voices in my life that I'm so lucky to have found. The ones that I choose to focus on and click that "Follow First" button on all my social media outlets.

It gave me the most brilliant idea for a series on my page! Spotlighting the voices that encourage, edify, and make a difference in my day. So for the next 3 days, hunker in and be prepared to hear about some of my favorite voices of social media.

☀️ Hello my little rays of sunshine! ☀️

I've done a lot in my time on this earth, but for me it's not about what I've done (starting this business). It's what I've overcome.

I've overcome settling for less.
I've overcome limiting beliefs.
I've overcome bad environments.

Last but not least, one of the biggest things I'm overcoming is fear of failure. I'm not letting go of my dreams. Most people will fail once, get discouraged and walk away. I'm not walking away. My failures are a stepping stone and a lesson to keep building upon -- and that is my story.

I am victorious on this day and I'm going to keep on overcoming.
