Good Things: Loading

After much thought and prayer, I have decided to take a break and stop taking on new projects for clients until further notice. Several people know this already, but I wanted to make a post here for those who I haven’t spoken with personally to make sure everyone is aware. As much as I dislike turning opportunities down, I would much rather say no to a project and say yes to where I feel like the Lord is leading me.
I ask God for guidance in everything I do, and right now I believe that He is leading me in a whole new direction to continue to use the gifts He has given me to glorify Him. Even though I’m not quite sure how He wants me to use them or what that exact direction is yet, I’m super excited to keep on praying and find out! I already know that it will be so good! 🤩
I am so appreciative of the sweet support, words of encouragement, kind people, and fun projects that have been sent my way over the past few years, and I promise that if I ever start taking new projects again, y’all will be the first to know! In the meantime, I’ll be figuring out these next steps with the Good Lord’s help, trusting Him and His timing, and keeping on enjoying life!

Bring the joy.
Bring the joy into the day that others need to see. The more time that goes by, the more I learn that everybody has something going on that they aren’t sharing. It might be something stressful, hard, sad, upsetting, or all of those in one big bad ball, and you never know what difference you might make in somebody’s day if you just bring the joy. Smile. It might be the only one they get today.
Sometimes I feel like my joy tank is running low because I’m tired and stressed out, but I keep learning that when I ask the Lord to use me and help me be a light for Him to others, He always fills that tank right up (and really overflows it if I’m being honest ❤️).
So bring the joy today and every day. 🎉

We have a few new pals here, so I wanted to do a quick hey there and put a face with the pen and mouse 👩🏼‍💻
I’m Sarah Claire (southern double name girl!) and I’m the owner of SCA + Co Designs! My Bachelor’s degree is actually in Public Relations, but the Good Lord tossed graphic design in my lap a couple of years ago and I never looked back! ❤️
I always try my best to design anything anybody comes to me with, but logos have tended to be my specialty the past couple of years. I also design invitations, flyers, shirts, and do calligraphy by request! If there’s ever something you want to know if I do, please just ask and I’ll do my best to help!
Whenever I’m not in front of my computer, you can find me at my uncle’s hardware store (Crystal Springs Hardware), hanging with my fam + dogs, cackling big laughs somewhere with my friends, jamming to the Jonas Brothers and Morgan Wallen, or propped up in front of a tv watching (and yelling about) Duke basketball 🤩

I am so thankful for the opportunity to do what I love for God and His glory, and to say that I’m appreciative of all of y’all’s support is a big ole understatement! Good things are always on the way so stay tuned;)

Got caught up and missed last week’s verse, but we’re back at it this week!
This one is an on-time reminder (but really when are they not??) especially with a long + growing list this week. Working on focusing on using the things on that to do list as opportunities to glorify the Lord and not just obligations! 💜
