A successful business owner is not immune to failure or burnout. I'd argue that many successful business owners have faced their fair share of both but just kept on going. 💫
Today, I wanted to share some of my own challenges from the past year and the lessons I've learned:
👉 Rome wasn't built in a day. This is a familiar phrase we've all heard! And being a Mom and solopreneur brings challenges, especially with kiddos home in the summer. Each day I try to get closer to my long-term business goals, even if I have to go slower than I'd like. Here's your permission to do the same!
👉There are seasons of working on your craft. If you're like me, you've pivoted your career a few times. It can take time to learn and get experience. Get the practice you need to become confident enough to charge your worth.
👉Give yourself margin. Life can be crazy and throw you curveballs you weren't expecting. Give yourself enough margin in your schedule, so you can aren't living in a world of stress. For me, this means only handling the clients I have time for and saying no once my slots are full.
Let me know in a comment below: can you relate to these feelings or situations?
