1. Doesn’t fit with your Instagram theme

SOLUTION: If you feel like you want to take your Instagram feed in a new direction, that’s totally fine, just remember to be consistent with the direction you are taking.🧐

2. Captions

SOLUTION: we recommend giving sneak peaks into what’s going on in your business, showing vulnerability, what you’re working on and injecting your personality into your posts, sometimes an inspirational quote just isn’t going to cut it.🙁

3. Engagement

SOLUTION: we recommend blocking out time for engaging on Instagram as part of your posting routine.

4. Over-posting

Why are you losing followers on instagram?

You’re not posting enough🥵

There is a lot of content being posted to Instagram every day. To stay relevant you need to be posting, at least every other day. If you aren’t posting often people may not be able to engage with your posts when you do post.✌🏻

Keeping a consistent posting schedule will help people recognize your content better and allow them to participate more frequently if they like the content you post.🙏

This will vary among different social media platforms, but on Instagram, posting every other day (about 3-4 times a week) is a good amount to aim for. If you are posting less than that, your content will seem sporadic, and it will be challenging for you to connect with your followers.

Posting often enough will also be something that you want to test and change depending on the engagement that you get on your posts.

♡ Choose a theme for your Instagram images and stick to it.

♡ Put together a bank of images so that you can post regularly.

♡ Post at least once or twice a day.

Take your time and don’t be afraid to go through several drafts, especially if your captions are more than a few lines long. Great writing—whether you’re aiming humor or education—takes multiple drafts and edits..🙏

We all know that Instagram algorithm LOVES engagement – especially within the first half an hour of publishing your posts. A lot of engagement straight away means the algorithm recognizes that post is something worth pushing up and up the feed, for more eyes to see.🤩😍

Influencers know that too, and they sometimes use a little trick to draw some extra attention to their latest post. Many of them, interact with other posts for literally 30 minutes straight, 15 minutes before publishing the new post, and 15 minutes after. And by “interact”, I mean they go into their relevant hashtags, see a post, and leave like 10000 likes for that user who posted it. Literally liking everything they see, and even leaving a comment here and there. Which normally results someone in liking at least one picture from the feed – and usually it’s the very first one they see.🧐
