We had the most incredible trip to Maine for our daughter’s wedding to the love of her life. 😍 Our hearts were bursting with love, joy & happiness.

And there was also this huge, collective exhale.

That feeling you get when you look at your adult kids and realize… they’re okay. ❤️

They’re not just surviving this crazy world. They’re building lives that feel like their own. They’ve found people who truly know them, love them, support them and let them be exactly who they are.

And over those few days, we got to watch both of our kids with the people they love. One beginning a marriage, and the other building a beautiful life and relationship of their own.

Seeing the love between all four of them hit us harder than we expected.

You spend so many years wondering if you’re giving your kids enough. Teaching them enough. Loving them enough. Preparing them enough.

And then one day you get to stand back and watch them become these incredible humans.

And damn.
Our hearts are full. ❤️

We won’t be sharing photos from the wedding here because that beautiful day belongs to our kids, and they’ve asked us to keep it private.

But we can tell you this…

There was so much love in that space. And getting to witness our kids loving, being loved, and creating lives that are completely their own was one of the greatest gifts of being their parents. 😍 We are so grateful for our family and this life.
