It was rewarding to see a recent design all over the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society Annual Conference last week. Shoutout to all the speakers, expo hall vendors and especially the conference committee. Always an inspiring week to catch up with my state-wide parks friends!

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of working on these two logos for Eric and his team. The first logo was to develop a sleek and simple design for e4 Content Group. e4 Content Group is responsible for creating some of the most watched content over the past decade. (From record breaking ratings hits like The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, Amish Mafia and Breaking Amish to award winning shows like Deaf U and critically acclaimed series like Extinct or Alive and Pig Royalty) e4 is comprised of three other entities: Hot Snakes Media, Phantasticus Pictures, and Figure Four.

The second part of the project was to develop a fun and unique logo for Figure Four, a branch of e4 that will focus more on sports entertainment content. The inspiration for Figure Four Entertainment was derived from 80’s wrestling, and my goal was to capture the spirit of that inspiration.

Both logos were a blast to work on and Eric was great to work with. Lastly, it’s always a thrill to see the designs in real life applications. Swipe to see the logos from the office sign install.

I had a great time creating this design for my Parks and Rec friends! If you’re in the field of Recreation, get yourself to a PRPS Conference. Amazing expo hall, education sessions, and most importantly incredible networking opportunities.

As a forever tinkerer, I enjoy revisiting old projects and giving them a new spin. Here’s a refresh of an early project that I greatly enjoyed dipping back into. I’ve always appreciated Andi for being an early supporter of my work and was thrilled that she was receptive of this alternate version of her book series logo. Moral of the story…when you work with me, you never know when a new logo may show up unannounced in your inbox!

Summer is right around the corner, which means pool season for many! I tried to think of a “I know a guy” type caption for this one, but the truth is I’ve spent a lot of my life in and around this complex and am happy with how they turned out. The best part is that these two fun designs are now stickers that will be handed out for opening weekend festivities.
