Emails are supposed to create connection ❤️
It should feel like they’re coming from a bestie.
I’m sure you can all relate to the points I made in that a lot of emails feel like:
👉They come from a robot.
👉It’s just *another* sales pitch
👉it’s all business-y, like no real conversation.
👉and that the term “value” is misunderstood.
The point of emails is to create connection.
Talk about fears, failures, struggles, embarrassing moments.
Something everyone loves but you hate (or vice versa)
Talk about your passions, your hope and dreams.
Don’t be boring.
Have a point of view, it’s ok to ruffle some feathers 😉
Tell stories.
And most important be *regular* (and no I’m not talking about 💩🤣)
Sending consistent emails keeps you top of mind and builds that like, know, and trust factor.
And don’t get caught in the *value* trap.
Make people feel something, inspire them to try something new, give them a break from what they’re supposed to be working on.
