The Spring flower celebration is back in Ku-ring-gai! 🌺🌸🌼
Every year Council decorates some of our town centres with a wonderful array of spring flowers. This year six large feature pots – which will include small trees alongside flowers – have been painted by South Turramurra artist and centre worker Merie Botes and students from Roseville Public School.

We had brilliant weather for the first Art in the Park get together this morning! Thanks to everyone who came out to join or just stop by to say hello. Thanks also to the Turramurra Lions Club for looking after our park and keeping it clean and beautiful. It was great to see the locals getting their paint, charcoal and pens on to capture the South Turramurra park. Looking forward to possibly doing this monthly.

Ku-Ring-Gai is getting ready for 🌸SPRING🌸 and the South Turramurra park is getting a makeover! Whoopwhooop! 👏🏻🩷🌸🥳 I’m so super excited about being tasked with painting these big boys to liven up our local! Thanks . They need to be ready to have their spring blooms added in less than a month. 🫨 Now to the drawing board. What to paint? What to PAINT?!! 🎨 🤔🤩 Did I mention I’m excited?! 😁

Rocky horizon. From a holiday by the coast. I love painting the coast. Must be because I can use my favourite phtalo colours and there’s always a rock or two thrown in. Makes me feel like I’m back on that holiday with the sun on my face and the wind in my hair. Acrylic on wood. 8x10.
