Thank you for sharing the finding of our research and yes I will say it again

“I feel like I’m constantly seeing this kind of data, and I don’t want to keep reporting this. I want to see solutions and see things actually happening,” Emmie Faust, a serial entrepreneur and founder of FFR, tells Sifted.

“We need to work out how we can get more funding channeled into women-led businesses,” Emmie added. “We need to look at other ways we can get funding to them, and think about whether we need different funding vehicles, and how we make them accessible.”

We really loved this!

Suki did a 5K+ run during at least an hour of competitive netball
and I went for a 5K run/walk this morning.

This campaign was to raise money for a great cause, get people outside running, and raise awareness of female founders.

💜 Suki is nominating 5 great female founders to go for their run and explains why she thinks they are great and you should follow them (her words):

↳ Nicola Piercy - an amazing person and I love her business Stripe & Stare
↳ Sophie Willson - great mum of 4 and juggles her business
↳ Emma Barrat - my netball friend’s mum who is a lovely person and does great work helping founders (and I know she likes running!)
↳ Victoria Armstrong - I love her because she is always at the FFR events being friendly to everyone. She has been a founder 4 times.
↳ Laura Tudor - generous person and lovely products that she was giving away at the IWD party. I still remember from 2 years ago.

Today’s yoga I dedicated to my very brave sister she is going in hospital on Tuesday for a brain operation

This will be the third time that she has had Cushings come back which I believe is a pituitary tumour.

Last time Kiko had it removed, promptly rowed across the Atlantic solo, broke a world record and raised £100k for the hospital that treated her.

She will be back there again with I believe the same consultant DR doing the op and how incredible all that she has achieved since the last one. And having a gorgeous baby girl Bubba.

Join me in sending her positive vibes and a speedy recovery. Take a minute to say a little prayer, gratitude or a sending of goodness on Tuesday.

My sister is so resilient, brave and courageous. She never whinges or complains about this and just gets on with life. An inspiration to us all ❤️❤️
