We want to make the world a better place, but in order to do that, we people should make changes first. deforestation is very relevant in today's society; The loss of tress can cause climate change, soil erosion, flooding and increased greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere, however, it is not just us people who are affected but also animals who ended up in extinction for losing its habitat. Human wastes are also everywhere, marine life is facing threats and dangers including oil spills, global warming, plastic pollution, ocean dumping and many more. In addition, air pollution and improper waste disposal affect us everywhere we go, endangering our health and contributing to an unclean environment.

We students, created this campaign to serve as the voice on saving mother earth through social media platforms to influence the youth on preserving our nature so that the future generations will also have the chance to embrace the beauty on earth.

CAUSE AND EFFECT of AIR POLLUTION

CAUSE:

Air pollution is caused by solid and liquid particles and certain gases that are suspended in the air. These particles and gases can come from car and truck exhaust, factories, dust, pollen, mold spores, volcanoes and wildfires. The solid and liquid particles suspended in our air are called aerosols.

Air pollution happens when solid and liquid particles—called aerosols—and certain gases end up in our air. These particles and gases can be bad for the planet and for our health, so keeping track of them is important.

Where do aerosols come from?
Any particle that gets picked up into the air or is formed from chemical reactions in the air can be an aerosol. Many aerosols enter the atmosphere when we burn fossil fuels—such as coal and petroleum—and wood. These particles can come from many sources, including car exhaust, factories and even wildfires. Some of the particles and gases come directly from these sources, but others form through chemical reactions in the air.

Aerosols can come from other places, too, such as ash from an erupting volcano. Dust, pollen from plants and mold spores are also examples of aerosols.

What else causes air pollution?
Certain gases in the atmosphere can cause air pollution. For example, in cities, a gas called ozone is a major cause of air pollution. Ozone is also a greenhouse gas that can be both good and bad for our environment. It all depends where it is in Earth’s atmosphere.

EFFECT:
Effects On Humans

People experience a wide range of health effects from being exposed to air pollution .
Which are temporary, include illnesses such as pneumonia or bronchitis. They also include discomfort such as irritation to the nose, throat, eyes, or skin. Air pollution can also cause headaches, dizziness, and nausea. Bad smells made by factories, garbage, or sewer systems are considered air pollution, too. These odors are less serious but still unpleasant.

Effects On The Environment

Like people, animals, and plants, entire ecosystems can suffer effects from air pollution. Haze, like smog, is a visible type of air pollution that obscures shapes and colors. Hazy air pollution can even muffle sounds.

Air pollution particles eventually fall back to Earth. Air pollution can directly contaminate the surface of bodies of water and soil. This can kill crops or reduce their yield. It can kill young trees and other plants.

Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide particles in the air, can create acid rain when they mix with water and oxygen in the atmosphere. These air pollutants come mostly from coal-fired power plants and motor vehicles. When acid rain falls to Earth, it damages plants by changing soil composition; degrades water quality in rivers, lakes and streams; damages crops; and can cause buildings and monuments to decay.

Like humans, animals can suffer health effects from exposure to air pollution. Birth defects, diseases, and lower reproductive rates have all been attributed to air pollution.

Actions you can take to reduce air pollution.

These tips can reduce air pollution everyday:

1.Conserve energy at home,at work, everywhere.

2.Look for the Energy Star label when buying home or office equipment.

3.Carlpool,use public transportation,bike,or walk,whenever possible.

4.Follow gasoline refueling instructions for efficient v***r recovery, being careful not to spill fuel and always tightening your gas cap securely.

5.Consider purchasing portable gasoline containers labeled "spill-proof",where available.

6.Keep car, boat, and other engines properly tuned.

7.Be sure your tires are properly inflates.

8.Use environment safe paints and cleaning products whenever possible.

9.Mulch or compost leaves and yard waste.

10.Consider using gas logs instead of wood.

How you might personally contribute to marine debris and follow the “4Rs” whenever possible. Refuse unnecessary single-use items, like plastic straws or cutlery when possible. Reduce the amount of waste you produce by choosing products with less packaging. Reuse items when you can and choose reusable items over disposable ones. And, Recycle as much as possible — bottles, cell phones, ink cartridges, and many other items can be recycled.

CAUSE OF WATER POLLUTION:

Factories are point sources of water pollution, but quite a lot of water is polluted by ordinary people from nonpoint sources; this is how ordinary water becomes waste water in the first place. Virtually everyone pours chemicals of one sort or another down their drains or toilets. Even detergents used in washing machines and dishwashers eventually end up in our rivers and oceans. garbage and liquid waste ,These wastes contain harmful chemicals and toxins which make the water poisonous for aquatic animals and plants.

WHAT ARE THE SOLUTIONS TO PLASTIC POLLUTION?
The best advice for minimizing plastic pollution is:
1. Always carry an eco-bag, and if you have plastic bags, use them as often as you can.
2. Try to select items that come in non-plastic recycled and recyclable packaging.
3. Throw your garbage properly.

Soil, water and air pollution can all be a result of improper waste disposal and occurs when either of them becomes contaminated with hazardous materials. Not only does this contribute to the creation of a greenhouse gas effects but also causes significant harm to marine and wildlife.

One of the first causes of poor waste management is a lack of public awareness or, more specifically, lack of awareness within businesses and poor attitudes. Often, when something is at the end of its use, the way it's disposed of can be done so with a lack of care.

EFFECTS

Affects our Health

Like lung disease, heart problem, skin irritation, problem or abnormality in breathing and more.

Affects our Climate

As some waste decomposes,it releases greenhouse gases into the athmosphere.Like trapping of hear on earth that may effect of abnormality of weather condition like more storm or typhoon coming per year is happening until now.

Air Pollution

The open burning of waste causes air pollution or greenhouse affects.for example burning of rubber and plastic.

Soil Contamination

Is caused by the presence of man made chemicals, the softness of the ground, having smelly soil v***r and other alteration in the natural soil environment.

Infections to humans

Skin irritation and blood infections resulting from direct contact with waste, and transmitting bacteria from waste to infected wounds.

What are some solutions to deforestation:

There are many ways to look at potential solutions for deforestation. The obvious answer is to stop the human activities that are causing it. So, here is what you can do now to help reverse the effects of deforestation:
Plant trees as much as possible.
Raise awareness to the peoples.
bann those industries and companies which effect nature in a huge manner.

CAUSE OF DEFORESTATION:

Direct causes of deforestation are agricultural expansion, wood extraction (e.g., logging or wood harvest for domestic fuel or charcoal), and infrastructure expansion such as road building and urbanization.

EFFECTS OF DEFORESTATION:

Losing trees and other vegetation can lead to a variety of issues for Indigenous people, including climate change, desertification, soil erosion, less crops, flooding, and a rise in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
