Social media is painful...

I did not become a social media strategist because I love social media. Absolutely not!

The truth is, I was tired of waking up feeling unmotivated and dreading having to go sit in an office all day. I've been managing social media accounts for many years, but for companies where my personal time and finances were determined by others. It just wasn't the way I wanted my life to look.

It was time that I really ask myself:

✨What feels fun to me, but work for others?
✨When am I enjoying myself while other people are complaining or struggling?
✨What comes naturally to me?
✨How can I align these to create a life that is fulfilling?

I became a social media strategist because I love helping others. I knew that I could offer my skills to support other women while they focused on growing their business and living the life they desired as well.

James Clear mentions in Atomic Habits: "the work that hurts you less than it hurts others is the work you were made to do".

If managing social media is painful for you or just adds unnecessary stress, why continue to struggle? Allow yourself to focus on the things that feel authentic to you.
