There is something powerful about engraving memories into slate.

This custom piece for St. Mary’s Church – Corning, NY was created using an actual slate tile from the church roof — a small piece of its history, preserved in a new way.

It represents a lifetime of faith —
the joy of marriage, the sorrow of loss, and the blessing of community.

Some stories deserve to be written in stone. 🤍

🎄✨ Craft & Laugh Alert! ✨🎄
Join us on December 7th at 1:00 PM at the Lost and Found Inn in Tyrone, NY for some serious ornament-making fun with J-Net Designs!

Anybody that knows me knows I’m a huge Yankee fan and have been since like age 8. My favorite player is Graig Nettles. He will always be that.
Fast forward to Monday night’s World Series game 3!! Konrad and I were there out in right field Section 105, Row 9, seats 21 & 22.
Konrad: you are really going to make a sign? People won’t be able to see behind you.
Me: Yes, two.
1. Nettles 4 H.O.F.
2. Thurman Munson
Konrad: you really going to wear your lime green Yankee jersey?
Me: Yes
Konrad: are you try to get on tv?
Me: Yes (I feel like it’s my duty to Nettles & Munson!)
Freddie Freeman comes up to bat, I grab the Nettles sign, pull the rubber band off and at the ready if he hits a homer! (Had a feeling)
He does!! In section 106.
Up went my sign, and now every time you see that highlight reel of Freeman’s homer in game 3, you won’t be able to not see us!! We are famous yet again!
We were at the hotel after the game and trying to go to sleep and Konrad starts laughing. He tells me, I see your sign!! You’re welcome Konrad! Check out the pics and then watch the video!! ❤️⚾️

What a labor of love but so happy how it turned out. Friends asked J-NET Designs to take an OLD door that their Dad had made many, many years ago and make into a table. In the table are over a hundred Budweiser bottle caps. Some were drank for special occasions. All were drank!! Thank you Rick & Sarah Yehl for trusting in us and your patience as we worked out the logistical nightmares. Nothing straight, flat, many holes for epoxy to escape but it was well worth the look on your face when you saw it. I hope every time you use it you think of your special loved one and the happy memories you shared.
