Eight years ago, I decided to relocate to Hong Kong, seeking a change in my life. At that time, residing in Australia, it appeared that I had everything one could desire - a newly built house, a car, and a decent job. However, despite these external accomplishments, I sensed a deep void within me.

Inexplicably, I felt unhappy, struggling to identify the root cause of my discontent. Each day seemed monotonous and unfulfilling, like a never-ending cycle. Moreover, I faced some challenging family issues that added to the negativity I was experiencing.

To address my yearning for personal freedom, I ventured into starting an online business. Little did I know that this pursuit would inadvertently confine and imprison me further. Instead of achieving the liberation I craved, I became enslaved by my own obligations and responsibilities.

However, returning to Australia has allowed me to gain valuable perspective. In retrospect, I am grateful for the painful experiences I encountered along the way. These challenges have played a vital role in shaping me, instilling resilience, and teaching me valuable life lessons. I now understand the importance of introspection and genuine contentment beyond material possessions.

3 Mental Habits of a “7 figure earner”

I heard someone share how they finally generated over 1 million dollars.

Of course, they did obvious things like increase sales and marketing efforts. No big surprise there.

What really jumped out through was the INNER changes they made with their attitude.

These include...

1: Wealth Prioritization

A common challenge this woman had is something I see with a lot of my clients... putting others first.

Instead of dropping everything to help a friend, she’d say, “Sure I can help you. I’ll be available after 6pm when I’m done with my work”

2: Workouts Became A “Must Do”

For her, getting in “work mode” became a non-negotiable.

Imagine a parent who needs to pick up their kids from school every day. They would never decide to just “skip” some days.

If someone has the same attitude with working on their business, they WILL get done.

Now, this isn’t about perfection. But if someone can hit 85% success rate as she did, that’s all they need.

3: No ‘Work overload’

She’d tried all kinds of programs and none of them stuck. So what did she do instead?

She only kept work to a certain time frame.

Then she had the same routine each day. Wake up. Read. Positive affirmations. Workout. Then Get to work.

This simple approach may not sound sexy. But in the end, it’s actually a lot easier to not have to constantly decide, “What do I do to get started today?”

And you’ll notice, these aren’t radical ideas. In fact, they’re all pretty common sense.

So why is it such a challenge for most people to get their business to new levels?

A lot of it comes down to the nitty-gritty of what to do in you business... what type of marketing or content to post that works with your business model... and having the accountability to actually make changes stick permanently.

If you can figure this all out on your own, then you’re good to go.

However, if you’re not making the progress you want, then know that’s very common for most people. Almost everyone benefits from having more structure and accountability.

Plus, we all have our blind spots where we can be making mistakes and not even know it.

Today, I would like to address a concern about society's tendency to compare individuals. This behavior can have negative impacts on one's self-esteem and self-worth.

I was fortunate enough to visit my former teacher who helped me through my VCE years. I hold immense respect for him because of his unwavering support when I shared my aspirations at the age of 15.

It's crucial that we have more people who uplift and empower one another. Unfortunately, it seems that in today's society, people often seek to see others fail.

In my personal experience, I focus solely on my own journey and am not swayed by comparing myself to others. This can lead to losing one's sense of self and purpose.

I established a second company with a specific goal in mind, inspired by my former teacher who has been a guiding light on my journey.

My aim is to show everyone, regardless of their profession, that impact and financial success can be achieved if they put in the effort. Whether you are a cleaner, construction worker, musician, martial artist, or painter, it doesn't matter. The key is in the approach and mindset.

When working for someone else, one's earning potential is limited by the hourly rate. On the other hand, running a business has no limit on earnings as sales can be made repeatedly.

“This isn’t my last chance to work.”

Someone shared a simple phrase…

Helped them overcome cycles of restricting and working to much .

For many people, they don’t control work… work controls them.

Working on one's business becomes an obsession.

And unfortunately, the business industry tends to make things WORSE.

All the focus on revenue, “touchpoints,” and even on their bank account in general…
..can create a really unhealthy relationship with your business.

That’s why I don’t believe in excess restriction.

Sure, don’t work twenty hours straight. That’s just common sense.

But no one needs to feel like it’s their last chance to work,. There can always be a place for work.

After my clients know that, a lot of the pressure goes away. And working on their business better becomes almost effortless.

So if work or your business has been in control, I invite you to see if this phrase helps:

“This isn’t my last chance to work. I will get to enjoy anything I want at some point.”

“What if it doesn’t last?”

That’s a constant fear in many people’s minds after they get their business in a better spot.

I just heard a woman who made a 30% increase in profits in a month say…

“I have no one to talk to about this since I'm afraid of the shame if I end up losing it all.”

Now, we all have our ups and downs. That’s obvious.

Still, some people think success is about never having a bad day, a backslide, or a slipup.

But, not only is that impossible, it’s not really the “point” anyway.

You see, it reminds me of something I learned about meditation.

The point of meditation isn’t necessarily to have your mind be totally free from distracting thoughts.

Rather, it’s to get better and better at re-focusing WHEN you get distracted.

Each distraction is an opportunity to practice re-focusing.

So, if someone backslides with their business a bit, what if that’s just an opportunity to practice re-focusing? To build their “get back up and keep going muscle?”

Ultimately, I don’t believe a number in your account is what’s most worth celebrating.

I believe what’s most worth celebrating is the effort you’re making each day to be a better you...

To set a better example for your friends and family...

And to even be an example of how to ‘recover gracefully’ after slip-ups and backslides that will occur.
