XSS Vulnerability in HTML API: This vulnerability allowed attackers to inject harmful scripts into web pages viewed by others, posing a significant threat to site integrity and user safety.

XSS Vulnerability in Template Part Block: This issue could let attackers execute arbitrary scripts in user sessions, risking unauthorized actions and potential data exposure.

Path Traversal Issue on Windows Servers: This flaw could permit unauthorized access to restricted server directories and files, increasing the risk of data breaches and unauthorized data manipulation.

WordPress 6.5.5 is a short-cycle release aimed at enhancing security and stability.
