President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo (Ghana) at the :
• We've all gone down together. We should all rise together. If the answer to COVID-19 lies in finding a vaccine, that vaccine should be made available to the whole world, rich and poor alike developed and developing, all races and all beliefs.
• We should focus our attention on the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals, (…) Ghana believes that the effective implementation of the seventeen (17) SDGs remains critical to making the multilateral system relevant in addressing the global challenges we face.
• We, in Ghana, live with the grim reality that the majority of the abducted slaves from the continent were transported to the Americas and Caribbean through the forts dotted along our coastline. We owe it to their descendants to find a safe haven in Ghana, if they should need it.

President of the African Development Bank, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina has been cleared of charges of corruption and nepotism. It follows a review by a panel of experts. The US insisted on the investigation, despite an internal audit which cleared Dr. Adesina of wrongdoing.

"The panel concurs with the committee in its findings in respect of all the allegations against the president and finds that they were properly considered and dismissed by the committee," the panel stated.
This paves the way for his reelection later this year.
