Ever caught yourself staring at your product's packaging and going, 'meh'? 🥹

You've mastered the product creation game, but the packaging isn't quite hitting that Sephora-level glam or even the Walmart beauty aisle vibe.

Sure, you've dabbled in Canva and Etsy templates, but somehow, social media keeps throwing back designs that look eerily similar to yours.

Now, Fiverr's promising unlimited revisions for a mere $20, and you're thinking, 'What a steal!'

Hold up, let's talk strategy:

1. Know your customers. Tailor your packaging to their vibes. What do they love? What fits their lifestyle? Find that sweet spot.
2. Toss in a personal 'thank you' note. Small gestures make customers feel like they're part of an exclusive club.
3. If you can swing it, go for eco-friendly packaging. Being green is the new black, and customers appreciate a brand that cares.
4. Be bold with your fonts. Ensure your brand name and vital info scream from the shelves. Make it unmissable.
5. Dive into color psychology. Whether calming blues, energetic reds, or natural greens, choose shades that vibe with your brand.
6. Think embossing, debossing, or matte/glossy finishes. Your product should feel as good in their hands as it looks.

Now, if you're tired of DIY and seriously considering hiring help, ensure they meet these criteria to save you the headache and hassle:

1. Check portfolios, specifically for beauty packaging expertise.
2. Communicate, communicate, communicate, and make sure they get you.
3. Ask for a roadmap. What are the steps? Concepts, revisions, finalization? The clearer, the better.
4. Money matters, but so does quality. Invest a bit more for a design that screams 'you' and pulls in customers.
5. Stay in the loop. Your input matters. Collaborate, give feedback, and tweak until you're happy.

My point is, most of the time, if you don't know why you're designing in the first place AND who you're designing for, you get lost... lost in the sea of Canva templates and elements.

Here are the design essentials: Know who you're selling to. Understand your market. Familiarize yourself with your competitors. Study what's working for them and consider how you can improve. How can you be different and stand out? What's your competitive edge? Help us choose your brand! 😇

Packaging design concepts—brewing ☕

Do you feel like your products are getting lost in the sea of similar items in the market?

Are you tired of jumping from one task to another, struggling with your brand operations while trying to figure out Canva? Designing is a fundamental task you can't just brush off. 🥲

Want more people from your selected target audience to click on your ads?

If you find yourself nodding to these three questions, here are the top three tips that I can share when building and working on your visual branding:

1. Aesthetics matter. People, just like you (and me), would only click on "enticing enough" photos (or videos). Invest in high-quality photos or learn how to take aesthetically pleasing snapshots from your phone.

2. Know your target audience. Yes, a big part of the design consideration we take note of is this: who are we designing for? What type of designs would this group of people appreciate and relate to? Then work on that. Oh, don't skip creating your brand's customer personas.

3. Your brand's visual identity plays a significant role in positioning your brand in the saturated market. As the marketing pros always say, if you don't actively position your brand, you will be positioned. Design is one of the areas where we can control how people perceive your products and your brand offering. Make an effort, as much as your product development, to make them stand out.
