Pinning my style down a few years ago has made choosing what to wear much easier. It's a lot like .

You won't find anything hot pink in my wardrobe. 🙅🏻♀️ My go-to "uniform" is a green, black, or white top, and whichever clean black pants or jeans are within the closest reach.

A brand's style guide (which I recommend to all businesses) outlines things like your tone, messaging, colors, font, hashtags to use often, hashtags to use sparingly, how many to use, etc.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Brands without a style guide look messy and not put together. Their message is scattered, and it's challenging to get an idea of the brand's personality.

If you look at my Instagram account, it's pretty obvious (I hope 😬 ) that I'm a passionate digital marketer, nature and animal lover, seeker, yogi, and wife.

For solopreneurs, YOU are your brand. Similar to how I've removed any trace of hot pink from my closet (it's just not my color), your brand should show consistency. Avoid things that don't align with your business and the perception you want to portray.

Your images AND captions/hashtags reflect your brand. So tell me, what are three things you want people to know about your brand when they view your Instagram profile?
