Chakalaka Loaf 🍞

4 Cups flour
5ml Salt
15ml Sugar
10g Yeast
1 Can of Rhodes Chakalaka

Preheat oven to 180 degrees

Mix the cake flour, salt and sugar together, add the yeast and mix, Add the Rhodes Chakalaka and mix to form a soft dough. Knead for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Cover with a cling wrap or kitchen towel and allow to rise in a warm place for 25 – 30 minutes.

Place dough in baking tin. Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Banana Bread 🍌🍞
Recipe
Banana loaf.

2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
Half tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp cinnamon
Haf cup sugar
4 bananas
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla essence
Half cup oil
Half cup amasi (sour milk)

Method
Mash Bananas, add sour milk, oil, vanilla essence, sugar and eggs.
Mix flour, cinnamon, bicarbonate of soda, baking powder,.
Then mix together the dry and the wet ingredients.
In a greased pan, bake in a preheated oven for 50 minutes.
Oven @150 °c.
