KUDOS DIAPERS just sent out an absolutely vile marketing email.
Kudos has been my favorite diaper brand for years. Have used them through two kids, absolutely have loved the clean ingredients and the functionality of their diapers and wipes. I can no longer support their brand now.
Yesterday they sent out an email with the subject line “our most requested product” and it contains a photo of a naked baby, and on the edge of the photo you can very clearly see this baby’s ge****ls.
They claim this was a mistake. But I will not accept this excuse. A photographer had to capture, edit, and crop that photo. A graphic designer had to incorporate the finalized photo into an email and put words and logos over it. A marketing team had to review that email before sending it out. There’s no way after so many steps they missed this.
And WHY is that baby naked in the first place?!?! Why is a diaper company using photos of babies with their products not even in use?
In today’s world, child safety needs to be top priority. Millions of people now have access to a photo showing a child’s ge****ls. And their response is “oops it was an accident”. Absolutely unacceptable and I’m disgusted by this company I used to support.
I will no longer be purchasing from Kudos or sharing our affiliate code with them. Please consider no longer supporting this brand and holding them accountable. Children deserve privacy, dignity, and SAFETY.
And maybe I’m reading too much into it, but saying “our most requested product” when you only have diapers and wipes is weird when the photo is a naked baby. Makes me think this was intentional.
