Why should anyone pay you? 🙄

Lately, I've been asking myself this question. To keep pushing myself to deliver a better service to my clients and keep developing my coaching.

During the past 2.5-3 years, I've had the opportunity to be on all sides.

✅ I've been a coaching client.
✅ I've been running a coaching company.
✅ I've been working with other coaching companies.
But if I look at the two coaching companies I run now, why do my clients actually choose ME when there are so many others out there?
My conclusion:
➢ I am tough but supportive
➢ I do push people outside their comfort zone
➢ I don't try to be someone I'm not
➢ I walked the path myself
➢ I genuinely care about my client's results

I think the last one is the most important.

Every coaching call. Every DM. In every video or post, I try to give value to my audience.

Not to sell more (even if that comes as a side effect), but to be more of service. Give that extra.

Yesterday a 19-year-old girl sent me a long message on Instagram, telling me that I'm her new idol and that I'm everything she ever wants to be.
Or that 23-year-old guy who wanted to start the next Merch Sweden, asking me for marketing advice.

I reply to every single DM. Every message. Every comment (except on tiktok because I'm seriously behind with like 400+ comments 😂)

Because if there's one thing I learned, it's that you get what you are in life.

Ghost people - you get ghosted yourself
Be rude - people will be rude to you
Expect all help for free - no one will pay you for your help

Thursday thoughts 💭

I have the benefit of talking to a lot of different coaches on a weekly basis.

If I'm not going to be attached to the Swedish "jantelag", most are really excited about our call since they've seen what kind of results my companies have done over the past 2.5 years.

They see me as the "quick fix" to bring their business from struggling to thriving.

Before, that was exactly what we provided in our marketing agency.

But then our potential clients had another issue.

Cashflow.

Awesome service and results cost .

If you're in a position where you are new, or struggling...

You run out of cash very, very fast.

Because great things take a little bit of time to build 🏰
..and on top of it, they needed to do the other 50% of the work which was to be AMAZING in front of the camera and SELL.

Two things that are a high-level skill.

So we only worked with the top, best coaches in the industry—very VIP.

About a year ago, my mind traveled to how I could be of greater service to a larger group of people with the knowledge my team and I had.

It needed to be:

💡 Accessible
💡 Affordable
💡 Easy for non-techies
💡 Scaleable for the customer

So we built out one of the best programs teaching coaches exactly what to do (and HOW to do it) in order to be successful but with one key component

- They had to do it themselves in order to actually understand what their business is all about.

This is where an issue arrives:

🙃 Very few coaches want or know how to run a business, and get sold on "hire a team", and "don't do it yourself".

So what I see over and over again - are vulnerable businesses that don't have a clue about what they are doing and just looking for the next quick fix.

"Because nothing works".

In order to be successful, there need to be a business structure in place.

As a business owner, you should know the overall processes that your potential clients are going through and how your entire business is operating.

It's very naive to expect awesome results if you don't even know your own company inside out.

Does success have to be a pie? 🥧

That if someone takes a huge piece, it will be less over for others?

I strongly believe that this is NOT the case.

Mainly because I have experienced many times that people have infinite potential 🦸‍♀️

On LinkedIn, there's about 2 million new posts per day.

Instagram: 95 million photos and videos per day.

Facebook: 510.000 comments and 293.000 statuses per MINUTE

"How can I stand out in those feeds?🥺"

👊 Know who you're talking to
(hint: it's not everyone)

👊 Bring value
(how can you help one person today with something tangible)

👊 Be authentic and genuine
(social media is SOCIAL, you got to be you)

👊 Split-test your creative
(what images/videos get best engagement?)

It's better to have 100 followers who are exactly in your target group, than 10.000 randoms.

Get off the "everyone is my client"-train and start narrowing down...
..so you can start tasting the infinite pie too 🤤

Something I don't understand 🤔

So the coaching industry exploded during the pandemic
(hehe I was one of them who got IN)

Coaches became coaches because of their love of helping others...
..not necessarily to run a business.

So, when it became a fact that you needed more than genuine love to help others

The hunt started 🔫

"I need to learn instagram strategies"

"I bought this course on Linkedin"

"I invested $30.000 in learning masteclass strategies"

But business is, in my opinion, not about just doing a random puzzle 🧩

It's about looking at the full picture and understanding the journey of your potential clients.

So much money invested into strategies that probably will not work on their own.

Even if they are awesome 💪

So, here we are 2 years later with so many coaches who didn't achieve the success they deserve.

I believe there's room for everyone to be successful

You just have to see the entire jigsaw puzzle first

Learn, to earn 💰
