1. Why does my business exist?
There's a need for what I have to offer. I just didn’t know enough about the industry to put it in clear words.

2. How did I decide on pricing?
I really fumbled through this. I did research on businesses above me and below me. There was a major gap. It took a couple years to feel confident with where my sweet spot was.

3. What makes me different from competitors?
This is the ultimate “discovering who you are” phase of adulthood. Putting this into words is also a long process of revisions.

4. Who is my ideal client and why?
I knew I didn’t want to have the same niches as everyone else. I wanted to be open to more opportunities, but eventually I discovered what I enjoyed the most and that was experience brands. Because ya girl loves experiences ;)

5. How do you define success?

The early years of running a business can be an up and down roller coaster of feeling on top of the world or like giving up. In week one you might be thrilled about a great pitch made, but the next you may wonder where all your hard work is getting you.

Between staying sane, keeping the lights on, and the bills paid, there’s rarely any time to reflect on the big picture.

The first key to a successful business is knowing your numbers and creating a “Big Picture” plan. You can’t have a sustainable, profitable business if you aren’t clear on what it takes to get there.

Instead of dismissing it immediately, take a moment to ask yourself: how will this investment help me grow my business and increase my profits?
