Amanda (our Director of Content & Events) is one of the most hardworking, encouraging, dedicated, creative, patient and inspiring people I’ve ever had the privilege of working alongside. She has a way of making everyone around her better, not just through her talent, but through the way she shows up for people every single day.

What makes this milestone even more special is that somewhere along the way, she became more than a teammate. She became a dear friend. And being able to call someone both a colleague and a friend is a gift I never take for granted.

As she steps into this next chapter of life and prepares to become a mommy, I couldn’t be more excited for her. Let's add it up. Phone tree tool. Email tool. Logistics tracking. Website host. Form builder. Payment platform. Social scheduler. A texting tool you don't even have yet.

Eight logins. Eight passwords. Eight monthly charges. Zero of them talking to each other.

Today, while out capturing content for Gingerbread Trail weekend, Kamryn stopped by the historic Women’s Building, celebrating 100 years, and ran into none other than Bonney Ramsey. This woman and her husband helped shape so much of what makes Waxahachie special, and honoring the people and legacies that built this community matters deeply to us.

What a gift it is to serve this hallmark town. ✨
