Photography by Daniel R. Simpson We are a husband and wife team who want to help you document your memories, achieve your goals, and The rest, as they say, is history.

I’ve been taking pictures just about as long as I can remember. But it wasn’t until I started graduate school that I became really serious about it. My uncle (a retired professor) told me I would need some sort of distraction to retain my sanity, and he was right! He give me a digital SLR and set up meetings with local photographers to learn how to use it. I started taking pictures of my friends,

my hometown, and basically anything that sat still long enough for me to trip the shutter. I have since focused on portraiture – seniors, family, and couples especially – and scenic photography. My largest project is documenting my town and state. I live in a beautify area, perched between the mountains and the coastal plain. Most of the world will never get to visit, so I enjoy providing a chance for people to see it as I do.

Our Story

We are a husband and wife team from Milledgeville, Georgia. Despite both attending Georgia College & State University, we did not actually meet until after we graduated and both started working in the university’s Center for Student Success as Academic Advisors.

Daniel has an undergraduate degree in political science and a Masters of Public Administration and has worked as a training specialist, assistant professor, and academic advisor in addition to volunteering for various community organizations and political campaigns. He is also the primary photographer, after having beginning serious study of the art as a distraction from his graduate studies.

Nikki earned an undergraduate degree in psychology and worked as the departmental secretary and academic advisor before transferring to the Center for Student Success. She went on to complete a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership and was promoted to an advisor supervisor.

Together, they are a formidable team with nearly two decades of experience with policy development and implementation, education, training and professional development, and photography.
