This area includes several popular beaches such as Pensacola Beach, Navarre Beach, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, and Panama City Beach. While the name is unofficial, it is widely recognized in this region. Additionally, some communities located in Baldwin County in south Alabama, including Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan, also adopt the Emerald Coast moniker.
