I don’t know about you but for me, I have 10,000 things I need to do to move my business forward yet I don’t get anything done 📝

( when I say anything - I mean the uncomfortable things that I know will get me results)

There are so many days where I sit there I’m like “Why are you torturing yourself with this analysis paralysis, Bhumi?!” 😰

And the funny thing is, it’s not just me - I see it every day. . . 🗓

Business owners, entrepreneurs, and people who work for themselves deal with this on a regular basis.

Does this sound familiar:

“Oh I need to do X for my business but my client needs me so I can’t”

Or “I’ll just do it tomorrow” or “I don’t know how to do this, so I can’t do it”

Or “I’m so busy”

I’ve used all these excuses and no matter what excuse you use - valid or invalid- it doesn’t matter.

As one of my mentors would say -

“I don’t care what your excuse is, you are where you’re at from the actions or the lack of actions you've taken. Take full responsibility for your life because no one is coming to save you.” (in this case your business )

If you don’t know how to do something, Google it. If you still can’t find the answer just do something that gets you closer to the answer.

If you’re making time for clients over your business, just know that you're working IN your business not on ON your business.

Thinking, perfecting, or talking about what you’re going to do will keep you where you’re at.

And that will get you the same results.

Action is the ONLY thing that will move you forward ⏩

I would even go far as to say just start doing even if you’re

- not ready
- not sure if this is the right path
- do not have enough info to get it done
- don’t know how to do it, etc.

Because eventually, you’ll get data back to adjust, make improvements, or figure out what the next steps will be.

Meet Chloe 🙋‍♀️

This concept does not only apply to business, it applies to every part of your life.

You cannot focus on the problem and expect to get a solution.

You cannot focus how your life is currently and get to where you want to be.

So many business owners have told me that they want to make a certain amount of revenue in their business

BUT they don’t like marketing, it doesn’t work, they feel like they are being annoying talking about their service or business, how hard it is to be in business right now etc.

Those are the exact reasons why they are stuck where they are.

Same thing applies to relationships, you may want a loving relationship

BUT focusing on why your past relationships haven’t worked, what you don’t want in a significant other, how hard relationships are etc.

isn’t going to get you to a loving relationship.

I’m also in the process of learning this.

I wanted to attract awesome clients and get them amazing results for their business

But I would focus on why I don’t have those clients, how hard it is to find people who understand what I truly do etc.

However, the second I stopped arguing for my limitations

I started meeting people who saw value in my work and I got to work with amazing new clients who got amazing results for their business.

And I’m not even fully focused on what I want yet.

It’s a process, and I’ll get there.

And so will you.

You just have to promise yourself that you won’t get in your own way 💕

If I gave you $3,000 in exchange for $500, would you do it? 🤔
I’m guessing yes because you’re making 6x return on your investment, so why not?
However, most business owners don’t think of their customers or their marketing in that way.
I mean how much is your customer really worth to you?
For an average medical spa, customers spend $1-2K a year (it could be more or less).
If your services are good, then they stay for an average of 3 years (it could be more or less).
If your services are good, then they tell 2 of their closest friends and they end up being your clients (again it could be more or it could be less)
Which means that 1 customer is worth at least $3-6k for your business, not mentioning referrals or other services that they end up trying at your medspa.
So how much would you spend on reaching your client?
Marketing is not optional for your business,
It's an investment, and it's up to decide how much investment you're willing to make for your clients and your business.
I'll leave you with this:
You can either invest time or money.
You can spend more time, and invest less money
Or
You can spend more money and invest less time
Which one would you choose to get you to your customer?

Is social media marketing end all be all of the marketing right now? 🤔

Honestly, no 😳

Yes, that’s what we specialize in, however, it’s important to realize that social media is just a channel of marketing.

Just like with any other marketing channels like television, radio, magazine, email, etc. if you don’t know marketing it’s going to be ineffective. 👀

Don’t get us wrong, you should be on it because unlike the other channels we mentioned it’s pretty easy to set up an account, you don’t need anyone’s approval and it’s free (so why not?)😆

But mainly because you are in front of your customers.

However, being just on it is not marketing.

In our future posts, we’ll go into what marketing actually is and how social media can help you in the long run to grow your business 🤗
