"The Greatest Gift" by Lester Yocum
This is by far my favorite painting. It captures true meaning of CHRISTmas in a way few things can.
A wear Santa, kneeling in humility. Not delivering gifts, but recognizing THE Gift.
The reminder is simple, yet profound:
Christmas isn't about what's under the tree. It's about WHO came into this world.
HOPE.
REDEMPTION.
GRACE.
No matter how loud, busy, or commercial this season becomes, this painting pulls me back to what actually matters.
Tonight, I'm grateful.
I'm reminded the greatest gift was never wrapped, it was given.
Merry Christmas Eve!
