My letter to the editor in the Sunday New York Times in response to an attack on zoos and aquariums they published a couple of weeks ago. The author used research from 30 years ago to try and justify her position.

We're reposting our spot for Tennessee Aquarium's new Lemur Forest since facebook apparently chose not to post our comments on it. This was a really fun spot. Hanging out with Lemurs is our new favorite thing to do. Special thanks to Jill, Thom and Cindy at the Tennessee Aquarium for all their support. Special thanks to husbandry pros Chelsea Feast, Maggie Waggoner and Kevin Calhoon for their fantastic efforts in acclimating the lemurs and giving us unprecedented access to these cool critters. Thanks to Dave Lang at Atomic Films and Greg Steinmetz at Chosen Productions for their fancy camera work. And of course, Mark Cretcher at CommandX for cutting the spot together so gracefully.
