There’s something really powerful about the right book finding you at the right time 🤍
For me, these four have shaped how I think about life, relationships, ambition and being a woman in business.
📖 The Book You Want Everyone You Love To Read (and Maybe a Few You Don’t) – Philippa Perry
A reminder that communication is everything. In business and in life, how we listen matters more than how we respond. This book made me softer, more aware, and more intentional in my relationships.
📖 The Diary of a CEO: The 33 Laws of Business and Life – Steven Bartlett
Honest, uncomfortable at times, and grounding. It reinforced that mindset is the real strategy. Discipline, resilience and self-awareness are survival skills when you’re building a business.
📖 Magpie – Elizabeth Day
A novel, but one that quietly explores identity, longing and the pressure women feel around timing - career, motherhood, “having it all.” It stayed with me long after I closed it.
📖 Wild Power – Alexandra Pope & Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer
This one changed how I view energy. As women, we’re often taught to operate in a constant, linear way. This book reminded me that our rhythm is different, and that’s not weakness, it’s wisdom.
World Book Day feels like a good moment to say: growth doesn’t just come from experience; it comes from reflection. From learning. From letting someone else’s words hold up a mirror.
If you’re navigating ambition, relationships, identity, or simply trying to do life a little more consciously, these are worth your time.
Tell me a book that has shaped you recently? 📚✨
Still learning. Still growing. Still figuring it out as I go, one page at a time.
